Lia has recently relocated to Sunny California from the windy city of Chicago to become a star! This Mexican-Irish fireball found her love of fitness at the young age of seventeen. Lia has competed in numerous fitness competitions and even took first place in the Ms. Fitness Chicago at age nineteen. In 1999, she was attracted to the WTF and has been back every year since. With her ability to dance, Lia has placed very high in the fitness routine and loves the challenge of the other events. She especially loves the opportunity of meeting new life long friends.

In 2001 WTF World Challenge, Lia won her class in fitness with her unstoppable hip-hop routine. She also placed 9th out of 144 women in the Grace & Physique event. Lia plans on returning in 2002 with an even more entertaining fitness routine and more practice on the obstacle course.

In addition, Lia is a certified aerobic instructor, personal trainer and has instructed dance for ten years. She has taken her abilities of hip-hop dance, kickboxing, basic training and yoga to a whole new level. With her love of working with both children and adults, she has created classes for all different fitness levels known as "StreetMoves." Lia has traveled the country teaching the high energy, fun filled classes and she believes this program will become the hottest way to get fit today!
