Janice was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She is 26 years old and has brown hair and eyes. This Windsor athlete is a HCA Nurse at Windsor Western Hospital. Her hobbies include weight training, gymnastics and getting ready for WTF events. When she isn't working out, she spends time with her boyfriend/personal trainer/best friend. She is proud to be a co-captain of Team NRG along with her friend Michelle Lanoue.

Janice has competed in the 2000 WTF World Challenge in Clearwater and the 2001 WTF World Challenge in Las Vegas. In 2001, Janis' first competition, she placed 8th overall in Grace & Physique out of 123 competitors. She took home the silver in her age group. After leaving Clearwater, Janis went back to Canada and formed Team NRG of Windsor and prepared to compete in Las Vegas. She learned a fitness routine and now was entered in the prestigious Tri-Fitness. The WTF World Challenge Las Vegas brought together 144 accomplished athletes. Janis had a very successful competition as she accomplished the following:
4th overall in Fitness Skills
20th overall in Grace & Physique
5th overall in Dual Fitness (combination of obstacle course and fitness skills)
8th overall in Dual Fitness Optional (which included grace & physique)
10th overall in Tri-Fitness
