Sarah is originally from Croatia, or formerly known as Yugoslavia. She moved to the United States in 1984 when she was 8 years old. She has always been into outdoor fitness related activities such as: snowboarding, wake boarding, tennis, rollerblading and mountain biking. After reading about the Women's Tri-Fitness in Oxygen Magazine, she realized it was a sport she would enjoy competing. She had previously competed and won several Hawaiian Tropic contests and was soon recognized by Next Nutrition to represent their product.

At the 2001 WTF World Challenge Las Vegas, Sarah placed 4th overall (out of 144 competitors) in the Grace & Physique Event. Shortly after, Sarah would appear on covers of Oxygen, Natural Muscle, Muscle Media, and will be appearing on the upcoming Muscle Mag. She is one of the most sought after fitness athletes and models in the world.

This May, prior to the July WTF World Challenge, Sarah will be getting married in Cabo. Since she had a photo shoot arranged there, Sarah and Joe thought it would be a great place to extend their stay and get married.

One of Sarah's main goals is to get a degree in nutrition so she can help others achieve their goals through diet.
