Tania Sabatier Becht is an Exercise Physiologist with her Masters in Health Promotions. She lives in Ft. Lauderdale with her husband of two years. Tania is the owner of a health & fitness company, a part-time professor of wellness at a local college and is a fitness instructor at the Firm Fitness Center. She is also the wellness consultant for the City of Miramar Fire and Rescue Department.

Tania is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a health/fitness instructor and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America as an aerobic instructor. In addition, she is Moms in Motion certified, which qualifies her to work with women who are pregnant, set to become pregnant or who have just given birth.

In her spare time, Tania enjoys working out and spending time with family and friends. She loves competing in the WTF and meeting such great people as a result. Her favorite part of the competition is the true camaraderie amongst the athletes. She is excited to continue competing in the upcoming year and pursuing fitness modeling. Thus, she can act as a positive role model and inspiration to other women looking to compete.

During the 2002 WTF season, Tania competed in the South Beach Challenge (her first competition) and the WTF World Challenge in Vegas. She place 3rd overall (South Beach) and 6th overall (WTF World Challenge) in the Grace & Physique Event. Recently, Oxygen Magazine (issue #41) featured Tania as the Snap Shot Model/Athlete. When interviewed, promoter Al Rosen stated: "Tania Becht is more then a pretty face; she is an exceptional athlete and will become one of the better obstacle runners in the country. I expect her to break a 56 this year."
