The Rat Pack is Back; it is Al Rosen & Dick Smith returning to Vegas.
Dick Smith recently purchased a 48 ft. trailer as he is building the WTF
Parade Float to be used in major parades. It will feature 60 athletes and is
guaranteed to be the most popular float in any parade.

Bright lights, entertainment, resorts, casinos and now the LARGEST gathering of Fit Female Accomplished Athletes to ever gather in one place - July 10 -14, 2002, The WTF presents: 2002 WTF World Challenge - Las Vegas! The WTF will also be sponsoring the MOCC, Men's Obstacle Course Challenge.

As if it wasn't enough that 144 fitness athletes competed in Las Vegas last year, promoter Al Rosen promises and states: "You haven't seen anything yet! We are in the Lance Burton Theater inside the Monte Carlo (the hottest theater in Las Vegas) and we will be running the course under the lights at night. Hundreds and hundreds of fitness athletes have contacted our headquarters along with every magazine and women and sport networks." Rosen (one time professional wrestler, coach, promoter, and dad) starts pumping his fist as he is totally psyched about this event:

"The Rat Pack ain't back,
But the WTF is here;
With hundreds of athletes
We can't help if you stare."

The WTF has held events in Tropicana Stadium, Tampa Convention Center, Beach Resorts, Los Angeles, and will now be providing their athletes with the finest theater in Las Vegas, "I believe our athletes are the best, so they deserve the best!" states Rosen.

The event will start with prejudging of the Grace & Physique Event on July 11th in the Monte Carlo Ballroom. On July 12th, the finals will be held in the Lance Burton Theater (lot's of magic has taken place there). The Obstacle Course (both men and women) along with the relays will take place at Durango Stadium starting at 7 pm. On Saturday, July 13, the Fitness Routine and Fitness Skills will be held at the Monte Carlo with awards following directly after the conclusion of Fitness Skills.

Athletes may compete in any of the following categories:
Women:
Tri-Fitness - All 4 events (Grace & Physique, Routine, Obstacle, Skills)
Dual Optional - 3 events (Grace & Physique, Obstacle, Skills)
Dual - 2 events (Obstacle and Skills)
Single - 1 event (Athletes choice)

Men:
Dual - 2 events (Obstacle and Skills)
Single - 1 event (choice of either Obstacle or Skills)

In addition, there is a 4 x 75 yard shuttle obstacle course relay for both men and women.

The Women's age groups are the following: Teenage (13-17), 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50 and over. Each age group is then divided into short (5'4" and under) and tall.

There will be a limited registration of 200 women and 50 men. Athlete's who have previously qualified have first right of entry.
